Nov 7th – Avon Lake Indoor Skatepark


Avon Lake Indoor Skatepark is continuing to sponsor well-run skate boarding competitions. All levels are welcome to participate. Their next competition is Sat. Nov. 7th at 1pm. Oct 19 Meeting Postponed


BSBP has learned that Monday’s City Council Meeting has been cancelled. We will post information regarding when the meeting will be rescheduled.

Next City Council Meeting – Oct 19


Thanks again to those of you who attended the last BV City Council Meeting and showed support for the park. The City is reviewing the area proposed for the skatepark and is scheduled to present their findings about how the land can be used on October 19th at the next City Council Meeting. Please join us at 8:00pm for that meeting and again show your support. We are making progress!

Park Design Update!

City Council Meeting Change!


The City Council Meeting that was scheduled for September 28th has been moved to October 5th. We would encourage supporters to attend the City Council Meeting next Monday, Oct 5th at 7:30.  The location and park design will be discussed. Show your support!

We are asking for park supporters to please plan on attending the By Village City Council Meeting at 8:00pm on Sept. 28th to discuss/confirm the location of the park. This is a major step in the right direction to getting the park built. See you there!!!

BSBP and Who Skates!


BSBP is proud to announce our partnership with Who Skates, a US based skate park design and construction company, from Kennebunkport, Maine. Tom Noble and his Team have been incredible to work with as we continue to discuss preliminary designs of the park. Check out their website here!

Safe Summer!


We wanted to remind everyone to be careful out there during the summer months as we skate/ride/roll around town. Hopefully everyone is having a safe summer and we are looking forward to some exciting announcements about the park in the coming months. Until then – Keep Rolling!

BSBP Decks @ Marty’s!

Some more exciting news to report: Marty’s Cycle Center in Avon Lake is now carrying our BSBP decks for $35!  All sales go towards the creation of the park.  Marty’s also sells grip tape, trucks, bearings, and wheels to make the board complete.
